Sivananda Yoga
A gentle classical style practising 12 basic postures, breathwork and relaxation in a largely fixed order.
History
Swami Vishnudevananda, a disciple of Swami Sivananda, founded the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres in 1959.
Philosophy
Built on five points — proper exercise, breathing, relaxation, diet, and positive thinking with meditation.
